By now we've seen the statistics. Over 6.8 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the US and as of this writing, 6 recipients - or 1 in 1 million - developed a rare and serious condition.

Two weeks ago, I happened to see an innocuous poll on a popular networking site that does not limit the character count to 280. Participants were asked for their opinion on vaccine mandates as a condition for return to the office. I predicted that well over 50% of voters would support such a mandate. I was dead wrong on two
